About Me – Gary Roll
I am a Business Analyst and Project Manager with over 25 years of experience in the IT industry in a wide variety of business and technical roles.
As an analyst and consultant, I ensure that I understand the client’s requirements and I carry out the required work in a structured, thorough and creative manner to ensure the requirements are met.
As a Project Leader, I use my experience to guide a project so all stakeholders are aware of the outcomes, the current status and what needs to be done to reach the agreed goals. I have experience of working with many different organisations and project methodologies.
I have technical skills in business analysis, project management, application design (including handheld devices), database design, SQL (including stored procedures), SQL Server, and Visual Basic. I also have advanced skills in the standard Microsoft products Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint and Access.
I have worked extensively in Housing Asset Management. I was the lead analyst for the development of the ‘Apex’ Strategic Asset Management system. I have experience in all aspects of the field including Asset Register, Strategic Planning, Financial Forecasting, Housing Standards, Asbestos, Surveying, Energy/EPC Certificates and Health and Safety.
In October 2016 I set up ‘Gary Roll Consulting Limited’.
